Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading manufacturing company in the Greer, SC area, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team! This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse or materials experience who is looking for a stable Monday–Friday schedule and a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Material Handler Job Summary:

· Pay: $19.00 an hour during contract period / $20.00 an hour upon full-time conversion

· Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 am to 3:30 pm

· Contract: 6-month contract-to-hire

· Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and documentation, and complete put-away activities

· Pick, kit, and issue materials to production areas and internal departments

· Prepare outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, and shipping documentation

· Maintain accurate inventory records through system transactions and cycle counts

· Assist with investigating inventory discrepancies and resolving variances

· Maintain organized bin locations and accurate warehouse layouts

· Track material shortages, damaged items, and non-moving or obsolete inventory

· Support kitting and staging of materials to ensure timely delivery to workstations

· Maintain receiving, shipping, and inventory records

· Follow 5S, safety, and warehouse best practices

· Work with team members to maintain efficient material flow and meet operational goals

Material Handler Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED is required

· 1–3 years of warehouse, material handling, distribution, or manufacturing experience is preferred

· Basic computer skills required; inventory or ERP system experience is preferred

· Experience using pallet jacks, dollies, or similar material-handling equipment

· Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate inventory records

· Must be dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
