Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Operator to join our client's team. In this role, you will support comprehensive warehouse and order fulfillment operations, including receiving, inspecting, picking, packing, shipping, and maintaining accurate inventory. Candidates will be cross-trained across various warehouse functions to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, inspect, and ship orders accurately based on packing slips and production documentation using ERP warehouse systems.
• Shipping & Receiving: Load and unload delivery vehicles, verify received shipments against documentation, report discrepancies, and put stock away in designated storage locations.
• Inventory Control: Assist with physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and research/resolve stock or shipping discrepancies.
• Specialized Material Handling: Follow strict safety procedures for storing chemicals, handle temperature-sensitive materials, and safely process electrostatic discharge (ESD) products using provided protective gear.
• System & Document Retrieval: Access internal databases and systems to review order requirements and specifications.
• Warehouse Safety & Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while operating equipment in compliance with safety protocols.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8AM-4PM

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience: 1+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience.
• System Experience: Prior experience using ERP systems and basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
• Equipment Experience: Ability and experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Attributes: Excellent time management, organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and move throughout the warehouse during shifts.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Sufficient visual acuity to read order slips, inspect products, and operate computer terminals.
