POSITION SUMMARY

Maintain the safe and reliable electrical and mechanical operation of production, plant, and building equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, installation, and preventive maintenance.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow all safety procedures, use required PPE, and maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment, including pumps, air compressors, boilers, motors, and AC and DC drives.

• Troubleshoot advanced systems, including servo drives, spindle drives, rotary encoders, linear scales, and other digital feedback systems.

• Inspect, test, adjust, calibrate, connect, and install equipment using electronic instruments, gauges, diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

• Complete preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance. Respond promptly to plant alarms and management requests.

• Set up equipment, assist equipment users, perform alignment, and fabricate parts using appropriate shop tools when needed.

• Maintain work orders, maintenance records, equipment history, and spare-parts inventory.

• Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with coworkers, equipment users, contractors, and clients.

• Perform other related duties necessary to support plant operations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED required.

• At least one year of technical training in industrial maintenance, electronics, mechatronics, or a related field required.

• Associate degree or related technical certification preferred.

• At least five years of industrial maintenance or related experience preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair abilities.

• Equipment installation, calibration, alignment, and preventive maintenance experience.

• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

• Critical thinking, sound judgment, teamwork, and effective communication skills.

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance records.

• Dependable attendance and the ability to respond to emergency maintenance needs.

PHYSICAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and perform frequent pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, standing, crawling, reaching, and equipment handling.
