Legal Assistant

We are seeking a Legal Consultant – II to support the Court Order Compliance Group / Criminal Response Team in a high-volume, 24x7x365 environment. This role works directly with law enforcement on urgent and life-threatening matters, requiring exceptional accuracy, confidentiality, judgment, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle high-priority calls from law enforcement and authenticate callers before providing authorized customer records.
• Process and document cases accurately from start to finish.
• Review, validate, and respond to subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants.
• Enter legal process and customer/account information into workflow systems.
• Review data for errors or deficiencies and make necessary corrections.
• Make sound decisions under pressure and escalate matters when appropriate.
• Manage multiple priorities and high call volumes while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate professionally with law enforcement personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; any field of study accepted.
• Ability to apply for required government clearance.
• Basic understanding of legal concepts and terminology.
• Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, typing, data-entry, and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Legal education or experience is preferred; paralegal certificate is not required.
• Customer service, dispatch, call center, or similar high-volume experience is a plus.
• Must be willing and able to work any shift in a 24x7x365 operation.

Important Requirements

• 5 weeks of mandatory training; candidates must attend all training dates without exception.
• Must be on time, logged in, and ready to work at the scheduled start time.
• No personal phone use at the desk.
• This is not a cybersecurity role.
