Express Employment Professionals is assisting a local company in hiring an Energy Delivery Specialist. This position is responsible for safely transporting and delivering propane, refined fuels, lubricants, and other energy products to agricultural, commercial, and residential customers throughout the service area.

Schedule

• Day shift
• Typical hours range from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM and may vary based on business needs
• Overtime opportunities available
• On-call rotation may be required
• Extended hours, weekends, and holidays may be necessary during peak seasons and operational demands
  

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver propane, refined fuels, lubricants, and other energy products
• Operate delivery trucks, pumps, meters, valves, hoses, and related equipment
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections
• Verify product type, quantity, and delivery location before making deliveries
• Complete delivery tickets and required documentation accurately and timely
• Provide professional customer service
• Assist with the installation, setup, and servicing of tanks, pumps, meters, hoses, and related equipment
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe vehicles, equipment, and work areas
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and report equipment or safety concerns
• Follow all OSHA, DOT, and safety policies and procedures
• Properly use required PPE and follow hazardous material handling procedures
• Assist with other operational duties as needed
  

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Class A or Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission
• Current DOT Medical Certification
• CTEP Certification for propane delivery and cylinder filling, or ability to obtain within the required timeframe
• Prior fuel delivery, energy transportation, commercial driving, or related experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules, weather conditions, and seasonal workloads
  

Physical Requirements

• Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds
• Occasional lifting of 75 pounds or more with assistance or mechanical aids
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday
• Ability to safely climb ladders, trucks, tanks, and equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Comfortable working around fuel products, lubricants, dust, chemicals, noise, and moving equipment
