Certified Apartment Staffing is actively seeking skilled, dependable, and motivated Apartment Maintenance Professionals for immediate opportunities with multifamily apartment communities throughout Plano and surrounding areas.

Position Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will vary depending on the assigned position and may include:

  • Completing resident service requests accurately and promptly
  • Diagnosing and repairing basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, and mechanical issues
  • Performing drywall repairs, painting, touch-ups, and minor carpentry
  • Preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents
  • Completing unit inspections and identifying necessary repairs
  • Installing or replacing fixtures, hardware, appliances, and equipment
  • Supporting preventive maintenance and property upkeep
  • Maintaining clean and attractive grounds, breezeways, common areas, and amenity spaces
  • Removing trash, debris, and discarded items as assigned
  • Communicating professionally with property staff, residents, and vendors
  • Following community procedures, safety standards, and supervisor instructions
  • Arriving on time, prepared, and properly dressed for each assignment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous apartment or multifamily maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of apartment turns, service requests, and property operations
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, appliance-repair, painting, and drywall skills
  • HVAC/EPA certification for positions requiring HVAC service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
  • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Professional attitude and dependable work ethic
  • Reliable transportation
  • Basic maintenance tools
  • Ability to complete all required screening
