Financial Controller

Central Washington Asphalt, Inc. is looking for a Financial Controller for a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing construction company located in Moses Lake, WA. This position is not open to remote work.

The right person for this position will possess the following skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong background in cash management, financial report writing, and accounting
• Experience in financial analysis
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliation, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to shifting priorities
• Must have excellent computer skills, including in-depth knowledge of MS Excel & QuickBooks

Job Responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly and annual financial statements
• Monthly job cost reporting
• Oversee and assist payroll as needed
• Must have in-depth experience preparing quarterly payroll tax reports for 300+ employees
• Reconcile bank statements for multiple accounts
• Complete excise tax returns and contract clearances with the Department of Revenue
• Supervise AP & AR departments as needed
• Supervise completion of annual audits as required
