Part Time Procurement Consultant

The Part Time Procurement Consultant will support our government building procurement department by managing operational purchasing, supplier evaluations, and strategic sourcing projects. This role requires working within a large team environment and utilizing ERP systems and standard office tools to ensure compliance and efficiency. The consultant will play a key role in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation without the need for travel.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate suppliers and conduct audits to ensure quality and compliance
• Negotiate contracts to optimize costs and terms
• Analyze costs and plan purchases to meet operational needs
• Manage relationships with suppliers and coordinate orders
• Conduct market research to identify sourcing opportunities
• Monitor compliance and assess risks in procurement activities
• Coordinate inventory to support procurement and operational demands

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
