Service Manager - Agricultural Equipment

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to support a well-established agricultural equipment operation in the Conroe area.

This role is responsible for coordinating service activity, supporting technicians, scheduling preventative maintenance, responding to service needs, troubleshooting equipment-related issues, and helping ensure the service department operates efficiently and professionally.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Respond to service requests in a timely manner, with a goal of addressing requests within 24 hours
• Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance
• Be available for on-call service support as needed
• Analyze work problems and assist service personnel with troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Help motivate and support technicians in achieving service and performance goals
• Ensure required tools and equipment are available and properly maintained for service technicians
• Report unusual or significant equipment issues to management
• Help maintain a professional work environment and professional appearance among service personnel
• Support efficient daily service operations and technician workflow

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Agriculture, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of agriculture, farming, and ranching
• Previous experience in service management, agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, or a related service environment
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with employees, management, customers, and outside contacts
• Strong knowledge of equipment parts and service-related components
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Ability to assist in diagnosing issues when problems are not immediately identified
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Must be able to meet company driving requirements and safely operate company vehicles
• Must be available for occasional on-call service needs
