Experienced Rough Carpenter

Set In Stone Construction is looking for an experienced Rough Carpenter to join our team. We are seeking a dependable, skilled carpenter with at least 10 years of hands-on construction experience who can work independently and produce quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial rough carpentry
• Framing walls, floors, roofs, additions, garages, and other structures
• Read and understand construction plans and drawings
• Layout and accurately measure construction projects
• Install structural framing and sheathing
• Perform demolition and preparation work as needed
• Work with other trades, subcontractors, and crew members
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Identify potential issues and communicate them to the project manager or owner

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of rough carpentry experience
• Must have your own reliable transportation
• Must have your own professional-quality hand and power tools
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction
• Ability to read and understand plans and measurements
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Good communication skills
• Must take pride in workmanship and attention to detail
• Ability to safely lift materials and perform physically demanding construction work
• Must be able to work effectively as part of a construction team

Experience with framing, additions, garages, roofing, siding, decks, remodeling, and general construction is a plus.
