We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to help ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our facility, equipment, and grounds. This role is ideal for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, facility upkeep, and working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The successful candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the communication skills necessary to work effectively with both production employees and company leadership.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment, machinery, and building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, racking, and facility structures to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Complete monthly inspections of fire extinguishers and maintain safety compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and replacement parts.
• Perform general building maintenance, including minor carpentry repairs, door adjustments, and furniture assembly or repair.
• Maintain organized and clean maintenance work areas and storage locations.
• Manage and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required.
• Respond quickly and effectively to maintenance emergencies.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a commercial, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or trade certification preferred.
• Forklift operation experience required and ability to obtain company forklift certification.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques.
• Experience working with electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of production equipment and industrial machinery.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Flexibility to work overtime and adjust schedules as business needs require.

Maintenance Technician Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
• Frequently lift and move up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot and cold environments.
• Ability to wear required PPE and safely work around machinery, chemicals, and industrial noise levels.
• Sufficient vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to safely perform essential job functions.
