Pay Rate: $20.00–$22.00 per hour
Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Savvy Staffing is seeking a Saw Operator for a metal manufacturing company in Sturbridge, MA. This is a hands-on position responsible for accurately cutting metal materials to specified sizes and preparing materials for the next stage of production.

Job Duties:

• Operate industrial saws to cut metal materials according to specifications.
• Read and follow work orders, drawings, measurements, and production instructions.
• Measure and mark materials for accurate cuts.
• Properly load, position, and secure materials in the saw.
• Set up and make adjustments to saw equipment as needed.
• Inspect finished cuts for proper dimensions and quality.
• Remove burrs and sharp edges when necessary.
• Safely handle and move raw materials and finished parts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Perform other general manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a metal saw, band saw, chop saw, or similar equipment preferred.
• Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to read measurements and use basic measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
