Licensed Funeral Director

As a Licensed Funeral Director in our organization, this role involves coordinating and conducting simple cremation arrangements with families, filing death certificates, preparing obituary, strong teamwork skills, and self-motivated. You will also need to manage an occasional back up on-call duties, providing on call staff support.

Responsibilities

• Manage family files, follow state cremation standards
• Prepare obituaries accurately and sensitively
• Coordinate transportation with transportation staff
• Provide occasional on-call support

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in funeral directing
• Direct Disposers License
• State Funeral Director License
• Knowledge of cremation procedures
• Strong client communication skills
• Demonstrated empathy and compassion
• Excellent organizational skills
