Press Brake Operator

Our client in Freehold, NJ, is seeking a Direct Hire Press Brake Operator.

Pay rate: $20–$23/HR (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Set up, load, and run press brakes and other metalworking gear safely.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings to handle both simple and complex bending jobs.
• Machine setups, including custom punch tweaks and specialized tooling combinations.
• Check parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges throughout your shift for quality.
• Handle basic routine maintenance to keep the machines running smoothly.

Requirements

• At least 2 years in manufacturing, with 1+ year specifically operating a press brake.
• Hands-on experience with press brakes or metal folding equipment.
• Comfortable reading and working off technical blueprints and spec sheets.
• Skilled with basic precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
