Liquor Store Staff

The Liquor Store Staff play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service while managing inventory and maintaining store presentation. Team members work within a large group to support the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring customers receive knowledgeable assistance on a variety of wines and liquors. The role includes participation in tastings to enhance product knowledge and involves both front-of-store duties and occasional handling of deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service
• Manage inventory including stock replenishment and shelf organization
• Handle cash transactions and operate Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Verify customer ages to comply with legal requirements
• Participate in wine and liquor tastings to expand product knowledge
• Occasionally assist with delivery and logistical tasks
• Work collaboratively within a large team to maintain smooth store operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in retail or customer service
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Cash handling skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well within a team environment
