Flexologist

StretchLab is seeking energetic, professional, and knowledgeable Flexologists to provide assisted stretching sessions to our clients. The Flexologist will work one-on-one with clients to help improve flexibility, mobility, range of motion, and overall physical well-being through customized assisted stretching sessions.

The ideal candidate is passionate about health, fitness, wellness, and helping people achieve their personal mobility goals.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

• Hold a 2-year certification/degree in a health, fitness, wellness, or related field from an accredited program, with certification maintained and renewed as required; OR
• Hold a 4-year degree in a health-related field.

Preferred backgrounds may include:

• Exercise Science
• Kinesiology
• Physical Education
• Athletic Training
• Personal Training
• Massage Therapy
• Physical Therapy-related education
• Occupational Therapy-related education
• Other health, fitness, or wellness-related fields

Candidates should also have strong communication skills, professionalism, a positive attitude, and the ability to work comfortably with clients of different ages and fitness levels.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one assisted stretching sessions for StretchLab clients.
• Follow StretchLab's stretching protocols and training procedures.
• Perform a client assessment and identify areas of flexibility and mobility that may need attention.
• Develop and provide customized stretching sessions based on each client's goals and abilities.
• Demonstrate proper stretching techniques and maintain appropriate positioning throughout each session.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and comfortable environment for every client.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their goals, progress, comfort level, and session experience.
• Monitor clients throughout each session and make appropriate adjustments when necessary.
• Educate clients on the benefits of assisted stretching, mobility, flexibility, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
• Build strong relationships with clients and encourage continued participation in StretchLab services.
• Document client information and session notes accurately when required.
