Pay: $19.11 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Assignment: Temp to Perm
Work Environment: Onsite
We are looking for a Customer Solutions Representative (CSR) to join the Customer Solutions team at the Mission Plaza Career Center. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, providing exceptional customer service, and connecting job seekers with employment and community resources.
In this role, you'll work directly with customers to understand their career goals, provide guidance, identify employment opportunities, and connect them with services that can help them succeed.
What You'll Do
- Meet with customers by phone, virtually, or in person to understand their goals and provide support.
- Help job seekers navigate their transition to new employment opportunities.
- Identify suitable job opportunities and provide referrals.
- Educate customers about local employment resources, educational opportunities, and community services.
- Assist with resumes, job applications, interview preparation, and professional presentation.
- Build positive relationships with customers, coworkers, community partners, and other organizations.
- Follow up with customers and contribute to Career Center performance and customer service goals.
- Help improve workforce services based on customer and local labor-market needs.
- Handle challenging situations professionally while demonstrating empathy and concern for customer needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of relevant experience preferred.
- Previous workforce development, career counseling, recruiting, customer service, or employment-services experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, word-processing programs, and multiple systems/platforms.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and good driving record required.
