Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT-CT certification and at least 1 year of experience for a community hospital setting.
Details
- Community hospital setting including adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department areas
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Uses PACS and Philips CT equipment
- Epic EMR experience required
- May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
Requirements
- ARRT-CT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Fluoroscopy permit required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Valid compact state license required in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable)
- Experience with abdomen and pelvis CT, with and without contrast
- Experience with chest, head and neck CT, with and without contrast
- Experience with spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and trauma cases
- Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) post processing
- Experience with preparation and administration of contrast media
- Ability to start peripheral IVs preferred
- Experience with special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainage, and vascular CTA preferred
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process, as post-offer requests may not be accommodated
- Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Former permanent employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem roles
- First-time travelers may be considered for this role
