Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) at an outpatient facility in a day shift setting. This role involves providing outpatient physical therapy services to a large geriatric population with general orthopedic, neuro, BPPV, vestibular, and fall-related conditions. The position requires a minimum of one year of outpatient experience and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). The therapist will work at a single location with flexible hours typically between 0700 and 1730, totaling eight hours per shift.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Shift hours are typically between 0700 and 1730, with 8-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice in the state, BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, at least 1 year of outpatient experience, EMR experience, and willingness to wait for license submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience treating geriatric patients with orthopedics, neuro, BPPV, and vestibular conditions.
- Additional Information: Outpatient setting focusing on general orthopedic and neuro patient care. Telemetry or trauma level considerations do not apply. Orientation to environment, processes, and electronic medical record system (Cerner) is provided. No weekend or holiday work required. Dress code includes burgundy scrubs top and bottom or a burgundy polo shirt with dark pants.
