Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist specializing in interventional radiology procedures, located in a hospital setting. This role involves supporting interventional radiologists, vascular, and neurosurgeons with advanced imaging equipment and procedures, functioning independently with a rotating call schedule and weekend responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Shift: Rotating shift, 10 hours per day, scheduled from 08:00 to 18:30, with up to 2 days of on-call per week and rotating weekends.
- Schedule: 4 x 10-hour days with on-call rotations and weekend work.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, BLS (AHA), minimum of 3 years of experience in interventional radiology, valid MD license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Siemens IR suite Artis, GE Angio 4400, EPIC Radiant, and Change Healthcare PACS.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be seasoned in interventional procedures, able to work independently, and adapt to float requirements to other units/departments. Orientation includes one week of one-on-one training before working independently.
