Correctional Food Service Traveling Manager

Kellwell Food Management is seeking a highly motivated and flexible Travel Manager to oversee food service operations at correctional facilities in Eastern KY. This role involves Traveling to various units that needs a person to fill in or work on training current staff to meet company expectations. Supervising inmate food preparation, assisting with new facility openings, training new employees, and ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist inmates in meal preparation, ensuring recipes are followed and correct ingredients/amounts are used.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation procedures.
• Conduct weekly inventory and place truck orders.
• Assist with the opening of new facilities, including training new staff.
• Travel extensively within Georgia.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation is essential.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
