Forklift Operator

# Forklift Operator — $18–$20/hr — No Weekends!

**STSS Recycling** is hiring a Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. Enjoy a **4.5-day work week** with every weekend off — Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, and a half-day Friday, 7:00 AM–1:00 PM.

## What You'll Do

- Load and unload shipments as directed by the shipping manager

- Verify materials for accuracy on inbound and outbound loads

- Document materials as they're loaded and unloaded

- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on your forklift

- Move materials in and out of production areas as directed

- Organize materials for production, shipping, and receiving

- Pitch in on general warehouse tasks as needed

## What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of forklift certification

- 2+ years of warehouse experience

- Comfortable using shipping/receiving/inventory software

- Solid math and organizational skills

- A self-starter who communicates well and works well with a team, with minimal need for supervision

## Good to Know

This role involves operating a sit-down forklift for several hours a day, walking the warehouse floor, and standing or sitting for extended periods. Occasional heavy lifting (50+ lbs) is required. You'll be in regular contact with drivers, coworkers, and managers by phone, email, and in person, so clear communication and attention to detail matter.
