Special Education Teacher - Middle / High School

The Middle School Special Education Teacher plays a crucial role in supporting the academic and social development of students with diverse learning needs. This position involves designing and implementing individualized education programs, collaborating with therapists, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment that promotes growth and success for all students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide instruction and support to students with a range of disabilities in a middle school setting.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance instructional skills.
