Job Summary:
Xray Technologist position located in the area. This role involves operating radiology equipment to produce diagnostic images, preparing patients, positioning them appropriately, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The position requires a focus on patient care, technical proficiency, and adherence to established radiologic procedures.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program; Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R); BLS certification from the American Heart Association; Zero (0) to six (6) months of related experience; Knowledge of digital radiography (DR) and computerized radiography (CR) equipment, techniques, and protocols; Basic computer skills; Ability to wear lead aprons for extended periods
  • Preferred Qualifications: N/A
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Role involves preparing patients for radiologic procedures, operating specialized equipment, practicing radiation protection techniques, troubleshooting malfunctions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring infection control policies are adhered to. The position may involve working in various settings including emergency, surgical, outpatient, and inpatient areas.
