Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) imaging, working in an acute care setting. Located in an area with a 100-mile radius restriction, this role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on patient-centered care. The technologist will apply current best practices and demonstrate independent competence in operating advanced imaging equipment, ensuring appropriate patient management and safety during procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography (CT), Maryland State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology, active BLS certification from the American Heart Association, at least 1 year of experience in CT imaging, and current Maryland license
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE PRO 16 slice CT Scanner, GE VCT 64 slice CT Scanner, and GE CTI CT Scanner; proficiency with McKesson PACS Hardware and GE Independent Workstation; skill in operating MRM Radiology Computer Terminals, Hewlett Packard Laser Printers; familiarity with EPIC charting system; scrub color: Olive Green
- Additional Information:
- The technologist will work alongside one other technologist during scheduled shifts
- Orientation consists of 8 hours of non-billable training; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
- Call-off policy allows up to 12 hours' notice per 13-week assignment
- The environment involves acute care imaging with specific equipment usage requirements
- No BSN or license submission is necessary for this position
