Logistics Coordinator - Full-time

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring all sales, shipments, deliveries and pickups for the Transportation Department. Compliance with all safety requirements, product quality standards and company policies are essential functions of this role. · Use information system(s) to track transport needs and schedule shipments · Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) company to ensure loads are on time. · Use orders to build routes that are cost effective, minimizing empty miles while meeting customer timelines · Schedule drivers and equipment to transport loads · Provide information and documentation needed by drivers, customers, receiving and others. · Monitor progress for scheduled pickups and deliveries, address issues with delays as they arise. · Uploads BOLs and Packing Slips to support customer invoicing. · Complete weekly reports as requested by management. · Schedule LTL shipments as requested · Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards · Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the proper channels · Organizes and maintains pickup request forms (IMTs) · Track, store and organize hazardous waste manifests for IMTs · Other assigned duties as needed.
