Requirements + Job Duties
- Operate fabricating machines such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines, and punches to cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structural materials.
- Read and interpret job specifications to determine machine settings, adjustments, and material requirements.
- Position machine stops and guides to the required measurements using scales, rulers, or templates.
- Verify dimensions and machine setups to ensure products meet specifications.
