General Construction Worker

Lyons, GA

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare Building Materials: cut, shape, and install building materials to build frames for buildings and structures
• Assemble components for portable storage sheds
• Read and interpret production tickets & drawings
• Utilize tools specific to the job (Nail guns, hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
• Ability to read and use a tape measure
• Simple math skills are needed
• Follow Safety Procedures: adhere to all safety protocols while on the job, including wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications:

• Lifting: up to 70 lbs. at a time. Lifting up to 70 lbs. while walking will be required. Standing up walls off a table will be required.
• Standing: Standing/walking on concrete for 8+ hours per shift will be required
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable and have good attendance.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to learn new processes and procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
• Must be able to safely lift and move materials as required for the position.

Employees are expected to follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, GMP, PPE, timekeeping, and attendance requirements. Failure to follow company policies may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
