Job Description
Join a fast-paced team supporting one of the world's leading beverage brands! Chipton-Ross is seeking a Loader for a part-time contract opportunity in Champaign, Illinois. If you're dependable, physically active, and enjoy working in a warehouse environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Location: Champaign, IL
⏰ Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Type: Part-Time Contract
What You'll Do
As a Loader, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are accurately loaded, organized, and ready for delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Load trucks with product according to company standards and delivery requirements
- Verify load accuracy and ensure orders are prepared correctly
- Rotate inventory based on expiration dates and product freshness standards
- Clean, repackage, and organize products as needed
- Dispose of damaged or expired products following approved procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Assist with daily warehouse housekeeping, including trash removal and floor maintenance
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
- Regular lifting and moving of products up to 25 pounds
- Frequent walking, reaching, bending, and handling materials
- Ability to work around moving equipment and in varying environmental conditions
- Comfortable working in a warehouse setting with moderate noise levels
