Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active CA Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential is required
- Must provide a current screenshot of your CTC credentials
- Experience in Special Education within the elementary setting is strongly preferred
- Confidence in collaborating with general education teachers and support staff
- Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver exceptional instruction and support to students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess student progress and adapt plans to ensure ongoing growth
- Foster positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom dynamics
- Work cooperatively with families and interdisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and compliance in accordance with school and state guidelines
This contract assignment starts as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, with a commitment of 35–37.5 hours per week. Competitive compensation, between $45 and $55 per hour, reflects your expertise and commitment.
