Our client is a manufacturing organization seeking a detail-oriented Hiring Coordinator to support recruiting and onboarding activities. This role will partner closely with recruiters, candidates, and internal stakeholders to help ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.
Overview
This is a fully remote contract opportunity supporting talent acquisition and onboarding operations. The Hiring Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating key hiring activities, maintaining accurate candidate records, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
Summary
The Hiring Coordinator assists with the coordination of hiring activities, including background checks, onboarding documentation, candidate communications, and system updates. This individual will help prepare and organize hiring processes and materials while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Coordinate hiring and onboarding activities for new employees.
Assist with initiating and tracking background checks and pre-employment requirements.
Prepare, collect, and organize onboarding documentation.
Maintain accurate candidate and employee records within applicant tracking and HR systems.
Ensure timely and accurate data entry of candidate information.
Communicate with candidates regarding onboarding requirements and next steps.
Coordinate and distribute onboarding materials and resources.
Monitor hiring workflows and follow up on outstanding items as needed.
Support recruiting and HR teams with administrative and operational tasks.
Help ensure a smooth transition from candidate to new employee.
Qualifications
Previous experience in recruiting coordination, HR administration, talent acquisition support, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience managing sensitive and confidential information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/Applicant Tracking Systems preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong data entry and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
