RPSGT - High Pay | $5K - $8K SOB | Differentials | Relocation

The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) plays a vital role in conducting and monitoring sleep studies to diagnose and treat sleep disorders. This position offers highly competitive pay with night and research differentials, a sign-on bonus ranging from $5,000 to $8,000 after 90 days, and relocation assistance. The role is based in Lansing, MI and Traverse City, MI, with both full-time and part-time night shifts available. The technologist will work independently overnight, delivering excellent patient care and supporting clinical sleep research.

Position: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)

Locations: Lansing, MI & Traverse City, MI

1 Part-Time

Shift: Nights, 7 PM–7 AM

Full-Time: Typically 3–4 night shifts/week

Weekend Call: No call outside scheduled shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor PSG, CPAP, BiPAP, ASV, and AVAPS studies
• Conduct pediatric sleep studies following AASM standards
• Administer MSLT and MWT studies
• Score sleep studies using Compumedics Profusion software
• Educate patients on PAP therapy
• Complete nightly documentation and quality checks
• Maintain sleep-lab equipment and supplies
• Participate in clinical research and sponsored sleep trials
• Mentor technologists pursuing BRPT certification
• Support AASM accreditation and quality-assurance activities

Required Qualifications

• Current BRPT RPSGT credential in good standing
• Minimum 2 years independent PSG acquisition experience
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong ability to work independently overnight
• Excellent patient-care and communication skills
• Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs. and assist patients with mobility
