Paraprofessional

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join a supportive school district in Crescent City, CA for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting students with special needs and helping them achieve success both academically and socially.

Position Details

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students receiving special education services
• Assist with classroom activities, academic instruction, and behavioral interventions
• Support students in achieving Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff
• Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Assist with daily living and personal care tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow teacher and administrative direction
• Must meet all state and district requirements
