We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support civil litigation matters in Oak Brook, Illinois. This role is well suited for someone who can manage case activity efficiently, organize legal materials with precision, and contribute to trial readiness in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings strong litigation support experience, sound judgment, and confidence working with discovery records and case management systems.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily support for civil litigation matters by maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and helping attorneys stay prepared for key milestones.
• Prepare, organize, and review discovery materials, including collecting documents, managing productions, and monitoring responses for completeness and timeliness.
• Assist with trial preparation by assembling exhibits, organizing witness and case materials, and ensuring documentation is ready for hearings and court appearances.
• Draft and format legal correspondence, filings, and supporting documents in accordance with court rules and internal standards.
• Maintain accurate records in case management software, updating matter details, schedules, and document activity throughout the life of each case.
• Conduct factual and document-based research to support litigation strategy, motion practice, and case development.
• Communicate with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and external parties to coordinate information, scheduling, and case-related follow-up.• Prior experience supporting civil litigation matters in a paralegal capacity.
• Working knowledge of discovery processes, including document collection, organization, and response tracking.
• Experience assisting with trial preparation and managing materials for hearings or court proceedings.
• Proficiency using case management software and other tools for document and matter tracking.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in a legal environment with strong attention to detail.
• High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail when handling sensitive case information.
