Job Overview

The Technical Training Specialist will deliver and support Operations & Maintenance technical training, primarily for Wind operations, while helping expand Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems training. Responsibilities include classroom, virtual, onsite, and hands-on instruction; training administration; curriculum support; qualification tracking; and daily support of the Oklahoma City Training Center.

The trainer will cover areas such as Climb & Rescue, Technical System Training, LOTO, electrical safety, troubleshooting, SCADA, condition monitoring systems, substation switching, Solar, and BESS.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years in wind energy or power generation
• 3–5+ years delivering technical training, depending on education level
• Experience leading classroom and hands-on technical training
• Knowledge of safety regulations and management systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, LMS platforms, and Adobe
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Wind technician or renewable-energy training experience
• Knowledge of Solar, BESS, LOTO, QEW, SCADA, CMS, or substation switching
• Experience developing technical training materials and curricula
• SAP or ME-Learning experience
• Experience supporting a technical training center or lab
