Dispatcher

Robert Half is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Dispatcher to join a local team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating schedules, communicating with drivers and customers, and ensuring timely and efficient dispatch operations during evening hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers, service personnel, or deliveries according to schedule
• Monitor routes and provide updates as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and field staff
• Maintain accurate records of calls, schedules, and service activity
• Address issues or delays quickly and professionally
• Perform general administrative and data entry tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous dispatch, customer service, or logistics experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with computer systems and dispatch software
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
