Job Title: TIG WelderJob Description

This role offers the opportunity to perform precision TIG welding and fabrication work on stainless steel components within a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. You will work on first shift, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, supporting the production of industrial meat smokers and stainless steel ovens by interpreting blueprints and assembling high-quality products using both power and hand tools.

Responsibilities
  • Perform TIG welding on 16-gauge to 20-gauge stainless steel components with consistent quality and precision.
  • Complete fabrication tasks including cutting, fitting, and assembling stainless steel parts according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements and ensure accurate assembly.
  • Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to fabricate and assemble metal components.
  • Inspect welds and assemblies for quality, accuracy, and adherence to company standards.
  • Follow established manufacturing processes and work instructions to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toe shoes and safety glasses, and adhere to all safety policies.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve fabrication or assembly issues and improve processes.
  • Handle stainless steel materials and equipment carefully to prevent damage and ensure product integrity.
Essential Skills
  • Hands-on experience working in a fabrication shop environment.
  • Proficiency in TIG welding, especially on 16-gauge to 20-gauge stainless steel.
  • Ability to perform MIG welding as needed for fabrication tasks.
  • Strong skills in fabrication, including cutting, fitting, and assembling metal components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
  • Experience assembling products using power tools and hand tools.
  • Knowledge of stainless steel welding techniques and best practices.
  • Understanding of basic manufacturing and assembly processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working with industrial ovens, smokers, or similar stainless steel equipment is a plus.
  • Comfort working in a production-oriented environment with set schedules and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and use required PPE, including steel-toe shoes and safety glasses.
  • No formal medical clearances or welding certifications are required for this role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
