Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving elementary students as a Special Education Teacher for the remainder of the school year. Based near San Bruno, CA, this position focuses on providing specialized instruction and resource support to help young learners thrive academically and personally. Key Qualifications:
- Active California mild/moderate Special Education teaching credential (CTC)
- Experience supporting elementary school caseloads, especially in a resource setting
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work up to 37.5 hours per week
- Must upload a screenshot of your current CTC credential
Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction to students with diverse learning needs in an elementary resource environment
- Develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and adapt strategies as needed
- Work closely with general educators, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Maintain detailed records and compliance with all district and state regulations
- Provide direct academic and behavioral support while promoting independence and self-advocacy
