School Occupational Therapist - Mesa, Idaho

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled occupational therapist to make a positive impact in a school setting near Mesa, ID. Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Idaho Occupational Therapist license is required
• Prior school-based OT experience is highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
• Commitment to fostering student achievement and participation

Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluations, direct therapy, and consultative support for a caseload of 5–7 students, each receiving 30 minutes of OT monthly
• Deliver 30-minute weekly sessions for one student, ensuring continuity of care
• Offer monthly consults for two additional students to support their occupational therapy needs in the educational environment
• Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district requirements
• Collaborate with classroom staff to integrate OT goals into students’ academic and functional routines
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans as necessary

Contract Details:

• Immediate start, contract runs through May 25, 2027
• Flexible monthly schedule: approximately 5–7 hours per month
