To be successful in this role, candidates should bring:

• A current and active California mild/moderate Special Education Teaching credential (submission of a CTC screenshot required)
• Experience or strong interest in working with kindergarten and 1st grade students in a special education setting
• Skills in differentiating instruction, implementing IEPs, and supporting a diverse student population
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, families, and support personnel

In this role, you’ll:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to K-1st SDC students
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals to enhance classroom management and student support
• Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), working closely with families and multidisciplinary teams
