Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active California mild/moderate education credential required
• Must be able to provide a current screenshot of CTC verification
• Prior experience in a special education setting, preferably working with K-1st grade students
• Strong collaboration skills to effectively partner with classroom paraprofessionals
• Commitment to individualized instruction, behavior support, and positive classroom management

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans to meet the instructional needs of students with moderate disabilities in a self-contained SDC classroom
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to foster student growth
• Maintain accurate documentation related to student progress and IEP goals
• Create and implement individualized behavior management strategies
• Adapt teaching approaches and materials based on student assessments and needs
