Nuclear Medicine Technologist (S) - Permanent up to $210K

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our healthcare team in Anaheim, CA. In this role, you will perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and produce high-quality imaging studies to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining the highest standards of radiation safety and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures using specialized imaging equipment.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication.
• Adhere to all radiation safety guidelines and infection control standards.
• Maintain imaging equipment and perform routine quality control checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Accurately document patient information, imaging results, and procedure details in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to support timely and accurate diagnoses.
• Educate patients on imaging procedures and provide post-procedure instructions when appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.

Qualifications:

• ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles and nuclear medicine procedures.
• Experience preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals.
• Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment and related technology.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Experience with cardiac nuclear imaging and/or mobile imaging is preferred but not required.
