Special Education Teacher | Eagle, Colorado

In this role, you’ll provide specialized instruction, guidance, and advocacy for a caseload of five students in grades 6-8. This full-time position follows a consistent Monday through Friday schedule—with slightly later start time on Wednesdays—and offers you a chance to make a positive impact in a supportive, collaborative school environment.

Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families, and utilizing data-driven strategies to foster academic, social, and behavioral growth. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to adapt instruction to meet a variety of student needs are essential.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid and current Special Education Teacher license (please submit a copy with your application)
• Proven experience teaching students with significant support needs preferred
• Strong classroom management and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with modification and accommodation strategies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration

Key Responsibilities:
