Project-Based Opportunity
Actalent is seeking a Vietnamese-speaking Medical Assistant to support a healthcare project focused on conducting patient testing and assisting with clinical outreach activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, ensuring a positive experience, and helping facilitate important healthcare screenings and testing initiatives.
Job Responsibilities- Communicate with Vietnamese-speaking patients and families to explain testing procedures and answer questions.
- Assist with patient intake, registration, and documentation.
- Conduct and support various healthcare testing and screening activities according to established protocols.
- Record and maintain accurate patient information and test results.
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure testing appointments run efficiently.
- Educate patients on testing requirements, follow-up appointments, and next steps.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and project teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Perform other administrative and clinical duties as assigned.
- Fluent in both Vietnamese and English (spoken and written).
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinic, physician office, community health, or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working directly with diverse patient populations.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience supporting health screenings, community outreach programs, or testing initiatives.
- Experience obtaining vital signs, documenting patient information, and coordinating patient care.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Petersburg, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
