Job Description
Job Summary: Sorters to join our recycling operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and sorting plastic materials on a conveyor line to ensure proper recycling and processing. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality and supporting environmentally responsible recycling operations.
3:30pm - 12:00am
- Must be bilingual in Spanish
Sort various types of plastic materials from a moving conveyor line.
Identify and remove contaminants or non-recyclable materials.
Separate plastics by type, color, and grade according to company standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Assist with general production tasks as needed.
Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 30–40 lbs occasionally.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Previous warehouse, recycling, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
