Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFs will be considered
- Previous school-based experience with K-12 students highly valued
- Proficient in assessing, diagnosing, and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Skilled in collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and design evidence-based therapy plans for students with a variety of communication needs
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services, both pull-out and in-classroom, as required by IEPs
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with educational staff and families
- Offer consultative support to teachers and aides to foster inclusive classroom communication strategies
