Job Description
The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical Audiology experience, particularly within a medical/healthcare setting, along with demonstrated leadership, staff management, and clinic operations experience. This individual will initially provide comprehensive audiology services while working closely with the leadership team and may have the opportunity to assume increasing administrative and clinical leadership responsibilities.
The position is well suited for an Audiologist who is interested in building a long-term career within a growing healthcare organization and has the skills and experience to eventually lead an Audiology department or clinic.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical AudiologyEstablish rapport with adult and geriatric patients through effective counseling and patient-centered care.
Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
Perform tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing, decay testing, and otoacoustic emissions.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage hearing loss and related auditory conditions.
Provide hearing aid consultations and recommend appropriate treatment options.
Dispense hearing aids, accessories, and assistive listening devices based on individual patient needs.
Perform hearing aid cleaning, maintenance, repair, and reprogramming.
Conduct hearing aid verification and validation using Real Ear Measurements.
Recommend appropriate assistive listening technology and custom hearing protection when indicated.
Coordinate with primary care physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers when interdisciplinary treatment planning is required.
Accurately document, bill, and code services provided.
Provide clinical guidance and support to Audiology staff.
Participate in onboarding, training, mentoring, and development of Audiologists and support staff.
Assist with establishing clinical protocols, workflows, and quality standards.
Help monitor patient flow, scheduling efficiency, and overall clinic operations.
Collaborate with leadership on departmental goals, performance improvement, and growth initiatives.
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to departmental decision-making.
Support recruitment and evaluation of Audiology team members as the department grows.
Help develop and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians and healthcare partners.
Support departmental marketing, outreach, and business development initiatives.
Take an active role in the continued growth and development of the Audiology program.
The selected candidate may have the opportunity to grow into a Director of Audiology role based on performance, leadership ability, and organizational needs.
The long-term leadership component may include:
Oversight of Audiology clinical operations.
Supervision and management of Audiology and support staff.
Development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
Staff training, mentoring, and performance management.
Coordination with physicians and other medical departments.
Monitoring quality of care, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Supporting departmental growth, physician relationships, and community outreach.
Assisting with strategic planning and development of Audiology services.
Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
Current Florida Audiology License or ability to obtain Florida licensure before the start date.
Board Certification in Audiology or ability to maintain Board Certification through the American Board of Audiology.
Strong clinical Audiology experience, preferably within a medical or healthcare setting.
Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations.
Experience with multiple hearing aid manufacturers and fitting software.
Strong knowledge of diagnostic Audiology, hearing aid technology, and fitting procedures.
Experience with Counsel Ear and third-party programs is preferred.

Core hours: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
Travel to an additional nearby office location may be required as needed.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Audiologist with strong medical/clinical Audiology experience and a demonstrated interest in leadership. The candidate should be comfortable providing hands-on patient care while also taking an active role in mentoring staff, improving clinical operations, and supporting the growth of the Audiology department.
Candidates with prior supervisory, management, or department leadership experience are preferred, particularly those interested in progressing into a Director of Audiology role.
