Special Education Teacher Job Description:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities.
• Provide differentiated instruction and support to students with diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Collaborate with parents, fellow teachers, and support staff to support student success.
• Utilize specialized teaching strategies, adaptive materials, and appropriate resources to meet individual student needs.
• Work in a TK–1st grade Mod/Severe classroom.
• Manage a maximum caseload of 12 students.
• Receive support from 3 paraprofessionals in the classroom.

Position Details:

• Caseload: Maximum of 12 students
• Classroom Support: 3 Paraprofessionals
• Credential Requirement: Active California Moderate/Severe credential required
