NP - Internal Medicine | Flexible Schedule | New Grads Welcome

A solo physician-owned internal medicine practice in Sylva, North Carolina is adding its second provider — an NP who wants personal mentorship, genuine panel ownership, and room to grow beyond primary care into integrative medicine, aesthetics, and hormone replacement therapy. You'll start at 18 patients per day with the physician personally walking you into her panel one patient at a time. Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday until 2:00 or 3:00 PM. No overtime. New graduates welcome at $115,000 base, rising to $130,000 for experienced NPs, plus a 25% profit-sharing bonus above a $25,000 threshold.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide internal medicine and primary care to adults and older adults ages 16 and up
\n
• Start at approximately 18 patients per day, building toward a full panel over time
\n
• Deliver telehealth consultations extending patient access
\n
• Document encounters promptly in Athena EMR with accurate CPT and ICD-10 coding
\n
• Follow practice ACO standards for patient engagement and quality measures
\n
• Build and retain your own patient panel over time
\n
• Develop skills in integrative care, aesthetics, and hormone replacement therapy as services expand
\n

Qualifications

\n
• MSN or higher | FNP, AGNP, AGPCNP, or ANP certification required
\n
• Active North Carolina NP license before start; candidates outside region must relocate
\n
• Active NPI number, valid DEA certificate, and CAQH account required
\n
• Minimum 1 year prior RN experience required
\n
• Willingness to commit to the practice for at least 2 years
\n
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding required
\n
• 1 year primary care NP experience preferred
\n
• Medicare and Medicaid enrollment preferred; not required at hire
\n

Schedule & Compensation

\n
• $115,000–$130,000/year + 25% profit-sharing productivity bonus above $25,000 threshold
\n
• Full-time | Monday–Thursday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM | Friday until 2:00–3:00 PM
