Role Description The Systems Integration Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Gardnerville, NV. This position is responsible for installing, configuring, and integrating audio-visual and related systems, including cabling, mounting equipment, and verifying proper operation of all components. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing system checks, documenting configurations, and collaborating with project managers and other technicians to complete installations on schedule. The technician will interact with clients on-site to explain system functionality, provide basic user guidance, and ensure solutions meet performance expectations. The role also involves maintaining tools and equipment, adhering to safety standards, and supporting ongoing service visits as needed.\n

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve system issues efficiently.

• Experience providing technical support to end users and team members in the field or on-site.

• Hands-on ability with maintenance & repair of audio-visual or related electronic systems.

• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices to ensure long-term reliability of installed systems.
\n
• Capability to deliver training and clear instructions to clients and colleagues on system operation.
\n
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, signal flow, and AV connectivity (HDMI, audio, control systems).
\n
• Comfort working with hand and power tools, reading technical diagrams, and following installation specifications.
\n
• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to local job sites.
\n
• Relevant technical certification or coursework in electronics, AV systems, or IT is preferred but not required.
